If you want to escape the hustle and bustle and slow down a bit, then we recommend the Martell Valley. The valley entrance is in Latsch and takes you to the Zufrittsee lake and on to the 3,760 m high peaks of Cevedale and Zufall summit in the Ortler Alps.
And did you know that it is also called the valley of strawberries because of its particularly tasty “sweet fruits”? These taste particularly intense due to their location on the mountain hillsides and can be harvested right into July. Every year in June, the South Tyrolean Strawberry Festival takes place, where the berries (and also other products) are tasted and the Strawberry Queen is crowned.
